New tailored dive insurance programs as DAN Expands Reach in the Asia-Pacific

In 2019, DAN will introduce new tailored dive insurance programs to fit the needs of the local and travelling market, expand its first-aid training programs and deploy additional medical and scientific resources in the Asia Pacific region. 

For almost 25 years the expansive Asia-Pacific region has been successfully nurtured and grown by a small team that has been unwavering in their commitment to the DAN Mission: to serve and protect divers around the world.

However, to better service and expand in the Asia-Pacific Region, additional funding and resources are required. As such, we have developed a model that will enable growth, while also offering extra benefits for our members, and the region in general.

Building on existing infrastructure, the additional investment DAN is making will ensure that essential emergency medical services for divers remain just a phone call away. We are excited for the future and delighted that all Members will continue to receive the exceptional care they are accustomed to as DAN World Ltd. begins serving the Asia-Pacific region from January 1.

In 2019, DAN’s presence will increase noticeably in the region. DAN World will:

• Introduce new membership and insurance programs tailored to fit the needs of the local and travelling market;
• Expand the availability of first aid-related training programs; and
• Deploy additional medical and scientific resources to ensure the safety of divers and the support of dive professionals throughout the region.

We are excited by the future for DAN in the Asia-Pacific. We want to thank our Members for their continued support. Many of you have been DAN AP Members for over a decade, and that support has been greatly appreciated and we hope you will continue to support DAN well into the future.
